It is reported, Ministry of Public Health was in June of 1989, in former Beijing Medical University (the medical college of Peking University now) , former Zhongshan medical university ( Zhongshan University medical college) now Set up the centre of development of national medical education, is engaged in scientific and technological information interchange, medical education and training of medical science,etc.. In 2000, General Office of the State Council transmitted departments such as Ministry of Education,etc.>And then, Ministry of Public Health no longer continues managing the institution of higher education. So, the centre of development of the national medical education no longer continues bearing the relevant function. A few days ago, Ministry of Public Health claimed to cancel the centre of development of these two houses of national medical education formally.
